Silbury Hill... : Here's a distance shot of Silbury Hill...or as my friend Julian likes to say "England's IRMINSUL"... He's quite right, you know.
Silbury Hill...
A familiar site... : How could you go to England and not use one of these? Of course, our Postal phone card didn't work... Typical. I believe we were in Salisbury here. Beautiful city! I cannot wait to go back!
A familiar site...
Just me and the Signpost.... : How many pics have been taken here? Rumour has it that the signpost disappears all the time, and that English Heritage replaces it at least once or twice a year. Well I assure you, Brothers and Sisters, this was taken onsite, and it didn't end up with my gear!
Just me and the Signpost....
Cley Hill....England's "Roswell" : Ah, old Cley Hill. The place where the locals claim alien sightings and abductions. Bugger them, this is hardly that! It is what you see, although this pic hardly scratches the surface... A very impressive site!

Glastonbury Tor...at 40mph. : An enchanting view of Glastonbury Tor from a Vauxhaull doing about 40mph. Oh how the time flew! What a wonderful trip, cannot wait to go back.

Wayland's Smithy : This is looking into Wayland's Smithy....one of the most magical places in England.
Wayland's Smithy
Me at Stonehenge in April 2006. : At Stonehenge... Funny, Harris Tweed (cap) and German camo (jacket) don't really mix, do they? Nor did my cherry red Dr Martens boots. But do I care? No way! I'm anti-fashion. And the expression said I all. "I hate the French tourists!" hehe. Evil... Sehr boehse!

At Avebury... : A fine day at the Avebury Stones. We ventured many places that particular day in April. As far North as Wayland's Smithy, and as far South as Woodhenge. Of course, Silbury Hill was a treat, and YES, we trekked to the top...who wouldn't! England is a land like no other! A real spiritual sanctuary.

My wife and I : She's my central point... Without her I wouldn't be complete. What can I say? I'm in love like a sickly schoolboy. :)
